We travelled 1.5 hours each way (a total of 3 hours) to the tour location, only to arrive and find no staff, no guides, and no tour representatives present. There was no beach tour, no included lunch, and no option for the horseback ridingthat was advertised and paid for. We waited for approximately 10 minutes for someone to arrive, yet no one showed upto run the tour or assist us. As a result, we had no choice…”

The village is where they’ve found evidence of the earliest permanent settlement in Fiji and the experience was taken very seriously so it felt welcoming and a good insight into traditional culture.
