“It was a great night, the experience was fabulous. Food was great as were the performers. 100% on the food and performance. Downfall was the trip there and back on the bus only. Bus broke down and we had to wait for a new bus. On the way back we started on a big bus then got put on a small bus that could barely go and then had to do an extra 35 kms dropping off to other hotels. “Castaway Island is starting to look a little worn down, so no longer the luxury day trip it used to be. The lunch used to be a la carte for day guests, but is now buffet. Whilst a la carte would be preferable, the buffet was a good one, and the Mongolian style bbq worked well. However really disappointingly the Adult pool, whilst billed as such, was full of loud children and families. Nobody seemed to control this from the resort. Timely hotel pick ups, well organised ticketing and catamaran boarding. Comfortable, well air conditioned and friendly staff”

“The activity wasn’t bad but could be improved. Pick-up at the hotel was a bit confusing, because this experience according the driver was called Robinson Crusoe Experience, not the name we had on the tickets. It’s written nowhere that they take you to a private island resort. The jungle cruise is pretty boring, none of the staff is talking, playing music or explaining where we were going. The resort itself is very basic, the sea was unsafe due to sting rays and the pool was full of gunk. I’ll give it 3 stars anyway because the staff was super kind and lovely. If you go during summer be prepared for…”
